Denny Burk's a pretty smart guy. He was commenting on the mother who protected herself and her baby, using a gun. The whole article is worth reading, and Dr. Burk deserves the credit of readership going directly to his site, so only part of his (short) article is posted below:

Sarah McKinley is 18 years old and the mother of an 18 month old baby boy. Her husband died of cancer on Christmas Day, and a couple days later she buried him. On New Year’s Eve, she was home alone with her baby boy when two men came to her door and began knocking. She recognized one of the men as someone she suspected had been stalking her. After she wouldn’t open the door, the two men started banging on the door, trying to find a way to break in. Sarah grabbed her baby, a bottle, and a shotgun and ran into a bedroom where she called 911. The dispatcher told her to protect her baby and that the men needed to be in her house before she could shoot them. Finally, the men broke through the front door, and the first one lunged at her with a 12 inch hunting knife. Sarah pulled the trigger and shot the man in the chest. He died on her living room floor, and the other man fled.
The title of this blog post is not referring to the two men (though, they were definitely doing the wrong thing at the wrong time at the wrong place), but to some others. Click through to Denny's whole post to see the video news clip related to this news event and to find out what it was that was at the wrong place and the wrong time.

obviously there are seceral possibilities.

1) the pundit who wrote that book was in the wrong place at the wrong time because she added no value to the panel (her questions were silly -e.g. do you feel bad for defending you and your baby's life [in hindsight of not empowering yourself by exercising your right to 'chose'])

2) the mother: poor soul is practically being interrogated by the cnn panel as if she was more culpable or suspicious than the people who broke into her place with knives.

3) anderson cooper: obviously he is missing out on ratings by not hosting the panel

4) law enforcement: wrong time to eat a donut

5) 911 operators. took 21 minutes? that's a long pooh

however everyone knows that the truth is somewhere in the middle. therefore the correct answer is firearms prohibition. if the second amendment did not exist that silly panel would be able to gawk about something else and less brains would have died
