I read this article yesterday on an issue that's being put on the ballot in the American election in November.
A proposal to define a fertilized human egg as a person will land on Colorado's ballot this November, marking the first time that the question of when life begins will go before voters anywhere in the nation.
This is such great news for the American people and the future unborn babies in Colorado. Pray that the first step in granting the unborn personhood in the United States would come to pass in November (if not sooner). Please, please, please pray that the people of Colorado would give the unborn personhood in Colorado this coming election season.
As a note on the issue, Focus on the Family has said that they're not in favour of this move. They still recognize that abortion was unconstitutionally given to American people in Roe v. Wade, and that their (Focus on the Family) primary goal is to get enough justices on the bench of the Supreme Court who agree that the Roe v. Wade ruling was unconstitutional.
Either way you go, pray for the rights of the unborn. As the vast majority of baby fetuses diagnosed with down syndrome are being aborted (80%) in North America and Europe, as little girls are being aborted in Asia because families want to have a boy because he'll bring them more respect than a girl, as abortion in the US gets targeted at black families ("Although black women constitute only 6% of the population, they comprise 36% of the abortion industry's clientele") pray that God would save the unborn.
